The annual climate in Hungary has a temperate continental climate, which is influenced by three key factors: the Eastern-European continental, the Western-European oceanic and the Mediterranean influence. The climate of the country varies depending on the location. The winter months are cold, cloudy and damp or windy; the summer months are warm and sometimes become hot.
